Dennis Slade - SENIOR LECTURER / COORDINATOR, BEd SECONDARY PHYSICAL EDUCATON. B.A. MPhil,  Dip Tchg Secondary / Primary Physical Education

Following a long career teaching secondary school physical education and health, and four years in a Japanese tertiary institution, I have taught tertiary Physical Education and Health at Massey University College of Education since 1995.

I have several sole authored texts, and have fashioned a developing reputation in the field of Teaching Games for Understanding. I am also very interested in the potential for the teaching of citizenship through physical education.
